A sanctuary in cedar trees, overlooking forest greenery and flowing water with windows in all eight walls. Relax while listening to the sound of Gay Creek, and viewing the natural surroundings. Walk or drive to the town of Rockport, and to Howard Miller Park, on the Skagit River bank (about a mile), where eagle-watchers and photographers enjoy viewing nature in action. Located at the foot of Sauk Mountain, at the edge of the North Cascade National Park, it's just a short drive to the heart of the North Cascade Mountain range. Nearest conveniences are within an eight mile drive, and include 3 gas stations, about 5 diverse family restaurants, the Red Apple supermarket, espresso stands, and a gluten-free bakery. Guest access All parts of the tree-house, a campfire area, as well as the back 18 acres of the property are accessible to guests. And for the more adventurous, my property abuts the North Cascades National Park, where there are miles of rugged wilderness stretching to Canada that can be explored. Other things to note Howard Miller Park is one mile from the Eagle's Perch. For a cost of a $5 registration, you can use their showers. Their showers run on quarters, and cost 25 cents per minute, with a minimum of one dollar. The showers are available from about 6 am to 9 pm daily, except for Tuesdays and Wednesdays, when they close about 4:30 pm.
