Cozy studio on the Baltic Sea (Heiligenhafen)

Welcome to our cozy studio apartment, which we have renovated with love and attention to detail and furnished in a Nordic maritime style without kitsch. The apartment consists of a living room and bedroom with a new fitted kitchen and a modernized shower room. It has a small private terrace and its own entrance. A cozy nest awaits you in a central but quiet location, from which you can reach everything in Heiligenhafen on foot. The space The small studio apartment is a separate area of the house with its own entrance and small terrace, so you have undisturbed privacy during your stay. We completely renovated the apartment from the ground up in summer 2019, had a new fitted kitchen installed, modernized the bathroom, and furnished the small apartment in a modern, lovingly cozy way and with a slightly maritime touch. While we renovated the rest of the house, we lived here ourselves, now we use the apartment mainly for friends and family as well as for occasional rentals. Our clear goal in furnishing and equipping is that our guests feel comfortable and do not lack anything. Bright colors and surfaces dominate the room, the wood-paneled ceiling is lime-white glazed. There are a number of indirect light sources, such as a light bar on the ceiling and a rustic wooden lamp on the sofa, which provide coziness. A full-length mirror allows you to check your outfit before heading out to the beach promenade. The kitchenette is fully furnished and has everything hobby chefs need to prepare delicious dishes if you want to eat at home and not stop at one of the many recommended restaurants. Pots, pans, bowls, casserole dishes, dishes, cutlery, glasses - here not only the pizza succeeds, but also the fish freshly bought from the cutter (absolutely try it, it doesn't get any fresher!). Coffee machine, toaster and electric kettle are of course also available. The small dishwasher does the dishes for you! Between the fitted kitchen and sofa is a modern dining counter with two bar stools. The cozy corner sofa is converted into a bed (1.40 x 2 m) in two minutes, where you will find freshly washed bed linen and sheets. For a little extra comfort, we bought a large topper for the bed. The electric exterior shutters allow the apartment to be completely darkened if you would like to sleep in for a long time. We have equipped the small shower room with modern, simple fittings, a large mirror visually enlarges the room and the rainforest shower helps to get the perfect start to the day. A small towel dryer on the wall warms the room cozily and provides warm towels if needed, for example on particularly cool days. We have also provided a selection of magazines, books (yes, also wonderful classic "holiday reading") and board games for rainy days, so that it does not get boring - and if necessary, the large 4K smart TV with satellite TV and Netflix also helps. If you are traveling with a baby/toddler, we will gladly provide you with a small travel cot if necessary. Since our utility room is located next to the apartment, you may hear a washing machine running during the day. However, we take care not to disturb your peace and quiet! Guest access The self-contained studio apartment is your private haven during your stay. This includes a small terrace with a table and two chairs, which is located in front of the house at our carport. At the back of the apartment is a room door behind which is our utility room - but this is of course always locked during your stay. However, a washing machine may be heard as a result. Other things to note Restaurant tips are available directly from us. We actually know every restaurant in town. Heiligenhafen charges all overnight guests a tourist tax of EUR 1.80 (low season) or EUR 3.00 (high season) per person per day. This must be paid on site and is not part of the accommodation rental. You will find the form already filled out by us at check-in in the apartment!
