Enjoy your next mountain vacation in this amazing authentic “turn of the century” real log cabin. The Sunflower Cabin is a fun whimsical place to relax and enjoy mountain breezes and amazing mountain views. This historic log cabin was originally built in 1920 on a two cabin estate. We completely renovated the cabin and then added art to life with a few modern conveniences. The space The Sunflower Cabin features a beautiful vaulted ceiling that expands through the kitchen, living room and master bedroom. The primary bedroom has a king bed and the second bedroom has a queen size bed. The bathroom features a large walk-in shower. The sun room is a relaxing bonus room with amazing mountain views. The cabin has Spectrum high speed WiFi Internet, 2 flat screen smart TV's, plus YouTubeTV for local broadcasting. The deck has a gas grill and an outside patio dining table for four. Enjoy family barbecues and beautiful mountain views from your private deck, or create lifetime memories around the fire pit. The Sunflower Cabin is perfectly located in a charming mountain community in between Asheville and Hendersonville. This area is well known for the many hiking trails nearby, yet it's located just 35 minutes from the Downtown Asheville, Biltmore Estates and Historic Hendersonville. Pets are always welcome! If you're bringing a pet there is a one time $75 pet fee for up to 2 dogs. The backyard is has a 4 foot fence. PLEASE NOTE: The Sunflower Cabin is one of two cabins on the estate. You will have full access to the entire cabin, your own private entrance and assigned parking. The fenced in yard and fire pit are considered shared spaces with the other rental. FYI The cabin is very easy to get to in the winter and the roads are well maintained. But this is a mountain destination so we recommend 4WD in January and February Guest access This is self check-in. We have a lockbox. You will have full access to the entire cabin, your own private entrance and assigned parking.
