Set in a quintessential English village, this charming 1650 grade II listed cottage is the perfect relaxing country retreat. Surrounded by beautiful pastoral countryside with scenic woodland walks and local pubs. The area is famous for film and TV shoots, including 'The Vicar of Dibley' and 'Midsomer Murders'. Close to Marlow, and Henley-on-Thames, with High Wycombe station nearby, London is 30 minutes by train into Marylebone. Oxford is around a 30 minutes drive, and the Cotswolds 60 minutes. The space The property is a detached timber frame four bed cottage. The internal accomadation comprises a large sitting dining room, snug with logburner, kitchen with Aga (seperate oven available), utility room. Upstairs there are four beedrome, two of which have bathrooms, together with a family bathroom. The garden has an outdoor dining area, and seating area to take in the Chiltern views over fields to woods beyond. There is an excellent pub next door, which does fantastic food if you don't feel like cooking. Guest access There is a room on the third floor together with the garage/shed, which are locked. Everywhere else is available to our guests. Other things to note We are available through phone, and Airbnb messenger.
