This compact studio lies in the Ruka Valley between the slopes 16 and 18, next to gondola and Family Park. A true ski-in/ski-out. 3 restaurants & ski rental about 100 meters. 1 Queen size bed + 1 good quality divan sofa bed. Bathroom and compact kitchen with dishwasher. Floor 2/2, private entrance. Full size cabinet dryer. More info in the photo captions! NOTE! You need to bring your own bed linen etc, and clean the apartment to same level it was on your arrival. Free WiFi. The space The apartment is a dream come true for active people and skiers/ hikers/ mountain bikers. Here you can spend your holiday in a peaceful place next to the services and even without a car! Services are located close, but the building is located in its own peace on the slopes, above the hustle. That is why this apartment is perfect for resting, cooking and sleeping after and during an active day. For your comfort, you can find for example a dishwasher, private lockable ski storage, full size cabinet dryer for clothes and a 7 cm memory foam top mattress in the bed with two different sizes memory foam pillows. From the apartment, you exit straight in a skiable slope and ca. 50-150 meter radius (in the winter season) from the apartment you can find: - Gondola station - Valley ski rental & ski passes - Ski Bus stop - Rosa & Rudolf Family Park - Ski Booster restaurant/ pub with a public Finnish sauna - Ski Bistro on piste restaurant - Camp kitchen & bar -restaurant - K-market Valley (Take low and high season in to account and check the time tables from Ruka web pages) Ski gear rental services also from Vuosselinportti ca 350 meters from the apartment or from Piste, 8 minutes from the apartment by gondola. Cross-country skiing track and the paths of the ‘Valtavaara’ nature reserve area are located ca. 300 meters from the apartment. From the apartment, with the new Gondola, it only takes less than 5 minutes on the top of the slope Saarua and less than 10 to the Village side of the hill. In the winter season the gondola usually operates to 11 pm. Please check the opening and closing times of the restaurants and services from the Ruka web page! This apartment is a part of the former and legendary ‘Omenahotelli’ hotel chain. We have done a little bit of face-lift and upgrading, but there is still plenty of original look and feel left! We continue to upgrade the apartment over time. Because it is not a hotel anymore and does not cost the price of a hotel room, you need to have your own towels, bottom sheets and pillow & duvet linen with you. When signing out, the apartment needs to be cleaned to same level it was when signed in. These are some of the ways to keep the prices as low as we can! Guest access You have the whole studio with private entrance for your self and you also have access to condominium's ski service room (need to have your own ski service equipment). Other things to note NOTE! - NOT included: bed linen, towels, cleaning. You need to bring your own bed linen and towels and clean the apartment to same level it was when you arrived.
