We also found this magnificent 19th-century sommelier's house on a bike tour. Over many years, we have beautifully renovated it and created the center of our Karádi-Berger Winery here, where, in addition to the winery, two stylishly furnished apartments await you! The two fully equipped, separate apartments in the house are rented out exclusively to one group at a time! Zemplén is a cyclist's paradise, and our house is the ideal starting point for exploring the Tokaj Wine Region and the Zemplén Mountains. The space In the house, you will find two large, tastefully decorated apartments, each with two bedrooms and comfortable beds. The bathrooms in the rear apartment open directly from the bedrooms. The first apartment has a bathroom, but there are also several toilets. The kitchen of the back apartment opens directly from under the terrace, so if you gather here in the evening, you will definitely not disturb those who would like to retire earlier. With us, you can enjoy the tranquility of the quiet village of Tokaj-Hegyala in winter and summer, relax, play in the garden, and of course, enjoy a glass of wine or a delicious coffee in the shade of the huge trees. Thanks to the thick stone walls, the house is pleasantly cool even in summer, while in winter, modern underfloor heating with a heat pump provides warmth. In the large garden with ancient trees, two terraces and a cozy fire pit await you, where you can cook in a pot or grill. In addition, we have placed exciting board and garden games for you in the kitchens. There are no TVs in the rooms, but there is excellent, stable Wi-Fi coverage in the house. We want those who come to us to truly relax, enjoy the beautiful surroundings, the scenery and each other's company: to talk, play, cook and drink wine. If you need internet to share family moments or perhaps do a little remote work, the network is at your disposal. A bottle of well-chilled Karádi-Berger Habzóbor awaits you in the refrigerator to start your relaxation in style! You'll find some complimentary coffee capsules for the Dolce Gusto coffee maker in the house. We would also be happy to host a wine tasting for you, during which we will introduce the winery and our authentic cellar located below the house. At the same time, we would like to ask you to respect the tranquility of the village of Heyalia, so please refrain from listening to music in the garden. House parties, corporate parties, and bachelor and bachelorette parties are not allowed at the accommodation. Smoking is strictly prohibited in the house! Guest access The winery is located at the back of the house. We usually work here during the harvest period and when bottling. The front half of the house and the garden are for the guests.
