Glamping Barba is a cozy wooden glamping retreat in the peaceful surroundings of Preddvor, located within the Apartment Ursa Major & Glamp Barba estate. Ideal for couples or small families, the glamp accommodates up to two guests and features a bunk bed, dining area, and kitchenette. Guests can also enjoy the outdoor summer kitchen with a traditional stone barbecue. A private bathroom is located in a nearby building. Along the Kokra River, the host Milan, together with the Municipality of Šenčur, the Institute for Natural and Cultural Heritage Kranj, and the Geological Survey of Ljubljana, has arranged an educational trail. The trail presents the natural features of the river and its basin, with a special focus on the geological diversity of pebbles, which are displayed in the form of a pyramid. In addition to its educational purpose, the location of the pyramid also has a radiesthetic dimension, appreciated by those who are familiar with this field. One of the most special features of the accommodation is the host himself. Milan holds a master’s degree in geography and is also a history professor, so he can share interesting first-hand information about the history of the house, which is around 200 years old, the village of Hotemaže, which is 818 years old, as well as the natural and cultural features of the local area. Apartment Ursa Major and Glamping BARBA are located directly at the foot of the mountains. To the north, the mountain range rises like a spectacular backdrop from a film scene. The view stretches from Krvavec in the east, where the ski resort is located only 10 km from the property, across Grintavec, Kočna and Storžič in the north, all the way to Slovenia’s highest mountain, Triglav, in the west.
