Lower Gate Glamping is the perfect rural escape. It is a unique place that has been part of our family for over 50 years. We'd love to invite you to share this place with us in our Lavender Bell Tent (one of two tents). You'll enjoy a friendly welcome alongside everything you need for a comfortable stay. Don't forget to book your breakfast basket and logs for your fire pit! You can also enjoy our enchanting 6 acre woodland and stream. It's the perfect place to make camps and have adventures! The space You'll be accommodated in a high quality bell tent with a King sized bed, futons, stove, solar charger & other accessories. On the deck there's a fully equipped kitchen area, BBQ & all the other equipment that will enable you to have an enjoyable stay. You'll also have exclusive use of your own shower, toilet and washing up facilities. Alongside this is your own fire pit. Bike hire is available (including helmets & locks). We have a range of Bibkes for all ages. Please contact us for further details. You will be able to enjoy the incredible views and beautiful wildlife from the deck as well as explore our enchanting woodland ... you might even discover some fairies! On top of all that you're just 5 minutes drive from the historic market town of Battle and 20 minutes from the beach at Hastings. Guest access Lower Gate Glamping is the perfect location being just 3-4 mins from Battle by car, 10mins on a bike and just a 20 minute walk. There is a train station in Battle as well as a local bus service. We're just 1 hour 30mins from London with good transport links. Other things to note We can provide a full English breakfast hamper (please contact us to arrange ... you will have to cook the breakfast!). We do have a vegetarian options available. Bike hire is available (including helmets & locks). We have a range of Bibkes for all ages. Please contact us for further details. We DO NOT provide towels although we can't change the listing due to Airbnb constrictions on how we list our site. We provide a complimentary pack of logs for the fire pit. More can be purchased, just let us know how many you'd like. The drive to the farm is a long a farm track. Please keep to 5 mph to ensure a smooth drive and the safety of others. Please note that phone or electronic device charging is via USB only from a solar charged battery. There are TWO tents on the site. We CANNOT light the stoves in the tents prior to arrival unfortunately this is because they can't be left unattended.
