Other things to note The nearest supermarket, bottle shops and petrol stations are located in Maryborough, 30min drive away. The Poona general store and cafe offer basic groceries, hot meals and coffee. The tides out bar (Poona caravan park), located next to the boat ramp and kids playground is a good place to go for a drink, open daily and with live music every Saturday afternoon. They also do a small range of hot meals/ takeaway every night from 5-6:30pm. Takeaway food must be ordered at the bar since they don’t have a phone number. The Poona community hall offers drinks and hot meals every Friday night. A great place to unwind and meet the locals. The hall is situated next to a playground, tennis courts and football field, so the kids play whilst you enjoy a drink in the beer garden.
