2016 renovated backyard cottage located in "The Heart of Portland," the historic, now trendy Multnomah Village neighborhood next to The French Quarter! A quiet residential area in the Southwest quadrant of Portland. It's a quick walk to unique shops and great restaurants. It's a 5-mile drive to downtown. It's complete w/ radiant floors, 2 bedrooms, full bathroom, full kitchen, dining & living room. Wireless Smart TV w/ Netflix, and an entertainment cabinet with games, puzzles, etc. The space ☆The Secret Garden Guest House is a 900 sq. ft Cottage featuring: * Bamboo floors with radiant heat, warm board feels amazing! * High ceiling downstairs, and cozy loft ceilings upstairs. * Four skylights, two are venting. * Reclaimed fir beams and fir trim. * White paint with Color House Zero-Voc paint. * American Clay in bathroom. * Decopoz earth plaster in kitchen & shower. ☆ Kitchen appliances & amenities: * New samsung range with stove and oven. * New samsung dishwasher, with ecover dishwasher tablets (under sink). * New microwave. * New toaster over with convection. * New sink, faucet & garbage disposal with sponge, dish liquid, and handsoap. * New flatware, dinnerware in the secret drawer in top drawer next to the sink. * Glassware, bowls, dishes in the second and third drawers next to the sink. * Refrigerator. * Cuisinart coffee maker. * Oster hot water kettle. * Paper towels. * Food is NOT included, although you may find tea, coffee, instant oatmeal packets, coconut oil, wine, etc... and you are welcome to it! :) ☆ Dining Area / Main Living Room: * Ikea extendable dining table, with 4 chairs, salt and pepper. * Reclaimed fir coffee table. * A couch and chairs with a leather ottoman. * Dōterra essential oils with a diffuser with oil. * Entertainment cabinet with games, puzzles, books, and more. * Samsung Smart TV with Netflix. ☆ Bathroom has a shower/ bathtub combination, and provided are: * Shampoo, conditioner, body wash. * Hand soap. * Bath towels. * Hand towels. * Washcloths. * Organic cotton balls & Q-tips. * Blow dryer. * Toilet paper (extra under the sink). * First Aide Kit (under the sink). ☆ Bedroom 1 (downstairs): * Queen memory foam, firm bed. * Two bedside lamps on shelves. * Bench. * Clothes rack with hangers. * Ironing board with iron. * Shelving unit with extra bed sheets, blankets, and towels. * Two ceiling fans. * Emergency smoke & carbon monoxide detector. * Bathroom is entered through the downstairs bedroom, so it's not as private although it has a locking door. ☆ Bedroom 2 (upstairs): * Twin bed (organic wool & cotton mattress) on organic cotton box spring. * Queen bed (bamboo memory foam mattress) in firm, on a Dania frame. *Two bedside tables with lamps. * Table. * Clothing rack with hangers. * Mini Split Heater and Air Conditioner with remote control. * Sky light vents. * Emergency smoke & Carbon Monoxide Detector. ☆ The yard outside your guest house: * Picnic table. * Fire pit. * Cafe lights. The yard is permacultured with all biodynamically grown edibles. We are happy to share when there is bounty, so if you find apples, goumi berries, silver berries, blue berries, mulberries, plums, aronia berries, raspberries, herbs and veggies, feel free to harvest them! ☆ SHOE-FREE HOUSE. ☆ NO PETS ALLOWED ON PREMISES, we have hens in a coop. ☆ NO SMOKING ☆ NO PARKING in front of the gate, or walking across the neighbor's lawn. Thank you :) Guest access ☆ Free street parking, there's ample space. It’s a safe neighborhood, so find a spot. Usually the space in front, paralleled to our house, next to the lavender bush is available. Please do not block the gate since it’s a shared easement with our lovely neighbors. No parking in front of the gate. ☆ Enter through the large garden gate with the little red airbnb symbol on it, which is located to the right of our main house address 8133 . Beyond the gate in the backyard is your cottage just straight ahead with the matching airbnb symbol on it. There is an airbnb lockbox with your house key located to the left of the french door. We will message you the box key code on the day of your arrival. The house key opens the side door only, so go around the house to the left of the front french doors. ☆ Night time arrivals will see cafe lights above the large gate, enter here. The string of lights leads you to the cottage's french doors, where there is are farm lights over the entrance doors. We are up til 11 pm and our dog will let us know once you've arrived :) If you have any questions or need anything, so don't hesitate to message us via your Airbnb messenger. :) Other things to note NO SMOKING! Not indoors, in the yard, or n our premises. Thank you. :) ☆ NO PETS, even service dogs. So sorry, there are guests that stay here and some have serious allergies. Not to mention we have chickens in a coop. ☆ SHOE-FREE HOUSE. ☆ Toddlers are more than welcome here, but we do not provide a crib, play-pen, or baby gates, and have not baby-proofed the plugs, etc. There are steep stairs, so always watch your child.
