This newly renovated 18th century house with all modern comforts is ideal for holidays with family or friends. Here, no need for air conditioning, the stone walls are 60 cm thick and we are at an altitude of 550m, even at the height of summer, it's good and we sleep in the cool! And not (yet) a tiger mosquito... Beautiful walks or bike rides (VTC, mountain biking). A large lake with beautiful wooded areas, located 18km from the cottage, has a supervised beach, a water slide, a zip line; you can picnic there (tables and barbecues), rent pedal boats or paddles and fish there. The space Ground floor: large living-dining room (45m2, with stove in a huge cantou) opening onto a beautiful kitchen (20m²) and a terrace overlooking the vegetable garden with a superb view; small reading room (9m²- possibly extra bed for a 13th person), bathroom and reserve. 1st floor: Bedroom 3 (12m²) with 140cm bed and bathroom; Bedroom 1 (22m²) with 160cm bed, bathroom and terrace; Bedroom 2 (16m²) with 160cm bed and bathroom. 2nd floor: large dorm (40m²) with 6 beds 90cm and bathroom. Garden level: laundry room, seating area (for smoking) open to the outside Large wooded lot around the house, access to the vegetable garden. Outdoor furniture (table, benches, parasols, deckchairs, hammock), barbecue, outdoor games (petanque, mölki, badminton...), ping pong table, foosball. The 5 bathrooms include a toilet, shower and a sink. A large barn of 160 m2 is at your disposal, with bar, fridge, where you can organize evening or event on request. Linens, towels and linen are not provided. Possibility to rent them on site (sheets: €8 per bed; towels: €5 per person). Note: All beds are fitted with ducts. If you don't take the linens option, don't forget to bring your own (top duvet covers: 2 of 260x240, 1 of 240x220, 6 of 140x200) , all the pillowcases are in 60 x 60. We are in the countryside, but we have fiber... you can stay connected (even if it's not recommended;-) Cleaning fee at the end of the stay: 80 euros Pets: On a case-by-case basis, contact us. Multiple cars can be parked inside the property. Heating is not included in the rental price. The ground floor (kitchen and large living room) is wood heated (wood burning stove); the bedrooms and bathrooms have electric accessories. The wood package, of 15 euros/day, includes the lighting of the fireplace before arrival, the provision of wood and small wood for the ignition, the cleaning of the fireplace at the end of the stay. Electricity consumption beyond 8kWh/day will be charged 0.25 euros/kWh. An electric meter reading will be taken upon arrival at the cottage (meter clean at the cottage). The statement at check-out will calculate the amount of the electricity consumption fee that will be due. In partnership with the village restaurant, a service of dishes at home can be offered (on request) in the evening and on weekends (on weekdays the restaurant is only open at noon). Picnic baskets may also be available. Guest access You will have exclusive access to the entire gîte, a large space in front of the gîte to be able to eat there (large wooden table with benches, barbecue, parasols), a large plot of land where you can set up deckchairs and hammocks, and a large parking lot. You will share a space where you can play pétanque or mölki, a barn where you can play ping pong. Other things to note Community café restaurant in the village, offering aperitif on Friday night, themed evening on Saturday night. Workers' menus are offered there at noon from Monday to Friday. In partnership with the restaurant, a home meal service can be offered (upon request) in the evening and on weekends. Picnic baskets can also be offered. We have a large vegetable garden and several fruit trees and will therefore be able to let you enjoy vegetables and fruits depending on the season... and production ;-)!
