The space Sleep in the old 1895 chicken coop, converted into a charming micro-home Welcome to Le Poulailler, a former farm building from 1895, completely renovated with bio-based materials. Formerly occupied by the farm's ducks, it has now become a 40 m² micro-house where the raw earth and terracotta bricks, typical of the Toulouse region, meet the comfort of a high-end ecological renovation. Designed to accommodate up to 4 people, Le Poulailler is ideal for a couple, a family with one or two children, or anyone looking for an unusual experience in the heart of nature. The bright, air-conditioned living room includes a fully equipped kitchen, a cozy living area with a smart TV, and an authentic 1960s radio, fully restored and equipped with Bluetooth so you can listen to your favorite music. The master bedroom can be configured as you wish with a double bed of 160 × 190 cm or two twin beds of 80 × 190 cm. The second bedroom is located in the former space where the farm's chickens slept. Kept in its original size, it is more compact and accommodates two bunk beds, providing a real little cocoon that children love. All bedding is equipped with down mattress toppers for exceptional comfort. Outside, a covered terrace with 15 m² (161 sq ft) of garden furniture where you can have your BBQs naturally extends the living room. It offers views of the vegetable garden and the biodiversity pond, where dragonflies, frogs, and birds find refuge. You will also enjoy access to the 12 × 6 meter heated pool, shared with a second cottage and the house. When you stay at Le Poulailler, you also discover Ô Potager des Candides, an 8000 m² agroecological estate designed as a true living ecosystem. Stroll among more than a hundred fruit trees, many varieties of berries, and a dozen vegetable gardens cultivated in rotation, with no chemical inputs. Here, Indian runner ducks naturally control slugs, while hens fertilize the gardens by moving successively from one plot to another. Several hundred meters of country hedges, a pond dedicated to biodiversity, dozens of birdhouses, and insect hotels provide a refuge for a rich and varied fauna. The fruits and vegetables harvested when ripe are processed directly on the farm into sauces, coulis, and jams, simply sterilized to preserve all their flavors. Our ambition is simple: to demonstrate that it is possible to reconcile regenerative agriculture, biodiversity, ecology, and modern comfort.
