The space This cozy Tiffany blue house on stilts is the perfect nature getaway. Recently renovated, it features a well-designed interior including a fully equipped kitchen with a washer and dryer. The separate dining room, adorned with a white tablecloth on the round table, adds a touch of coziness. With two bedrooms and a living room, the indoor space is charming, but the real highlight is outdoors. Beneath the house, swing chairs face the fire pit and river, creating a serene spot for relaxation. A large wooden table can accommodate your entire party, and a comfortable couch is perfect for enjoying movies at night with the provided projector, which connects to Wi-Fi for access to Netflix and more. For added fun, there's a grill, making it a fantastic outdoor space to enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Other things to note Be aware of patential flooding. This property is located in the beautiful Ozello Keys, a riverside area prone to flooding, especially during heavy rains or hurricane season. While the house is on stilts for protection, be aware that the driveway may flood, which could affect vehicle access, damage and pose a risk of getting stuck. We are usually aware of potential flooding at least one day in advance and can inform guests about it accordingly. A Great Home Base for Fishing, Boating & Nature Adventures Explore Florida’s Nature Coast from our cozy Ozello retreat! The area is ideal for fishing, boating, kayaking, and seasonal scalloping. ✔️ Ozello Keys Marina is just a 5-minute drive away (1.8 miles) and offers boat ramp access, fishing and scalloping charters, and kayak and paddleboard rentals. ✔️ Three Sisters Springs in Crystal River is approximately a 22-minute drive away (10.8 miles) and is a popular destination for seeing manatees, especially during manatee season from November 15 through March 31. ✔️ Homosassa Springs is approximately a 19-minute drive away (11.2 miles), while the town of Homosassa is about a 24-minute drive away (14.3 miles). The surrounding Gulf Coast waters are popular for recreational scalloping, typically July through September, subject to Florida’s seasonal regulations. Boat & Trailer Parking: Our property can accommodate one pickup truck and one boat with a trailer. The maximum combined length of the boat and trailer, including the trailer hitch, must not exceed 21 feet. Parking space is limited, and maneuvering or backing up with a boat and trailer may be difficult. There is space for only one pickup truck and one boat with a trailer on the property. No additional vehicles can be accommodated.
