Whether you are traveling through Central Pennsylvania or choose to spend some time in the beautiful Susquehanna Valley we would love to be your hosts. Our home is just 4 miles south of Selinsgrove in the country, a quick 7 minute drive to Selinsgrove where Susquehanna University calls it home. Downtown Selinsgrove has a variety of restaurants and shops, and a town square which is host to a Farmers market throughout the summer into fall and various events thru the year. ALL ARE WELCOME ! The space Our home is an 1890 farmhouse that has been renovated and updated. We live on 4 acres in a rural setting 4 miles outside of Selinsgrove in the borough of Freeburg. We enjoy the quiet of the country setting. We have a large wrap around porch to sit and enjoy a good book, glass of wine, or just to listen to the water in the fish pond or the Susquehecka Brook that is in the back yard We offer two private guests room upstairs with the private full bath downstairs. The guest room has Queen size bed in addition to wall mount television and a small refrigerator to store drinks etc. Our other room has a Double bed Linens are provided. If you have forgotten any toiletries, we have you covered as well as towels for the bathroom. We always like to provide breakfast for our guest however if you have any dietary restrictions, we can accommodate and ask that you let us know what they are. We try to have the pool area open Memorial Day weekend but it is sometimes controlled by the weather in getting it opened. The weekend after Labor Day we try to close the pool, however again weather controlled. Sometimes it stays warm enough in September to keep it open longer. There are pool towels for your use, as well as a refrigerator to store drinks and food. Paper products also provided. We look forward to hosting and sharing our home with you and making you feel comfortable whether for a brief night stay or an extended stay. Guest access You are welcome throughout our home with the exception of our private bedroom and bath. We encourage you to enjoy our porch area as well as pool area. Please feel free to use kitchen area for preparing meal, we just ask you advise us at time of booking. During your stay We live in our home and are always home to greet our guest regardless of time of day. We enjoy getting to know our quests but on the same hand respect your privacy. We are as involved as you would like to be. Other things to note We live in a country atmosphere but are close enough to areas with the necessities of life.. grocery stores, restaurants, entertainment.
