Description
A sleeps two, barn conversion with original beams. The Nook is located at Back Tor Farm in the Edale Valley. We welcome all enquiries of three nights or more but do prefer Friday changeover dates. It is an essential part of our hosting terms that the person responsible for booking our property makes their full name and mobile number available to us in the Airbnb booking process. 3rd Party bookings are not acceptable. Your booking will be cancelled if this information is not provided. The space The Nook at Back Tor Farm is set within the Peak District National Park in 5 acres of peaceful farmland and located below the Great Ridge between Mam Tor and Lose Hill. Back Tor Farm is a great place to come to relax and get away from it all. With panoramic views of Kinder Scout, this freshly converted stone built Derbyshire barn offers contemporary, yet cosy accommodation and all the modern comforts of under floor heating, stylish bathroom and highest quality linen. The Nook sleeps 2 in a king size bed. Travel cot and high chair available on request. There is a spacious, well equipped kitchen/dining room and comfortable lounge with smart TV. We also have another cottage 'The Cowshed' which sleeps 4. Combined booking are welcome and discounts may be offered. The location is perfect for walking and cycling, visiting Chatsworth and National Trust properties all year round. Nearby Edale village (the starting point of the Pennine way) has pubs, cafes and a small shop. Guest access All of The Nook is for the sole use of each guest. There is also a 'shared' facility which includes washing/drying room. Other things to note We have two holiday cottages that are close to one another, but not attached. Parking area is shared & the laundry facility is shared.
