The space Set in the picturesque Northern part of Paros, Villa Viglakia is a small family business with only 5 holiday apartments. Villa Viglakia is open from April til Christmas, but upon request also during the Winter months. This apartment has a main bedroom with twin beds pushed together, it is spacious and sleeps 2-4 people, with two built-in single sofabeds in the open plan kitchen / living room. The Villa and apartments were renovated in Spring 2014, including kitchens and hotel grounds. The bathroom of this apartment was completely rennovated in 2016 in the traditional island style. This apartment has a patio with garden view and sea view on to the island of Naxos. We have a beautiful garden with mature palm trees and many other local plants. We can provide a cot for an infant which fits in the Master bedroom. Villa Viglakia is in a beautiful and quiet area in the exclusive Northern part of the island and at the heart of a protected area with Natura 2000 status. We are surrounded by natural beauty and wildlife. It is at the end of a private road, there is no through traffic and we have a large private car park. Please note that our swimming pool is a fairly small and shallow paddling pool (approx. 4m in diametre) which is for cooling down or for children who must be supervised at any time. There is no life guard. Santa Maria Surfing beach is 2km away. The shallow sandy beach of Mikri Santa Maria is 900m away and also has a Scuba diving school/centre. The picturesque fishing village of Naoussa is a 10min drive away. Villa Viglakia, if booked as a whole, is also ideal for accommodating the guests of small wedding parties. There is a double apartment for the couple with a private entrance upstairs (there is also room for a child, if needed) and up to 19 wedding guests can share the four larger apartments which are in the same Villa downstairs. Deck chairs and umbrella in the garden. Other things to note Pets (well trained dogs) will be allowed upon prior agreement only, but not during high season. Guide dogs (for blind guests, etc) will always be allowed, but please inform us prior to booking. Please note that some of the local tavernas and beach bars which are walking distance are usually closed in the very early and late season.
