On the large bright balcony adorned with bronze Hippocampes of this fisherman's house opening, through a large glass window, on a large living room, you can enjoy the harbor, its oysters, restaurants and the beach of Cancale under the gaze of Mont Saint-Michel on the horizon. (An ideal vacation or weekends with your feet in the water, for families or friends, in perspective... in Breton) Must-see sights… L’Hippocampe is ideally located on the Breton coast, near the fortified city of Saint-Malo, a few kilometers from Mont Saint Michel and its bay, Cap Fréhel, Dinan and the Rance Valley and an hour from the forest of Brocéliande. It enjoys an exceptional and privileged setting. If you come for a bath of sea, gastronomy or culture, you will be close to the heritage hotspots of Brittany. Sleeps 10-15 Located on the seafront on the port of La Houle, you can enjoy a renovated fisherman's house, furnished and decorated in the spirit of Breizhou (Breton), 200 m2 on three floors. The residence l 'Hippocampe can accommodate up to 15 people (10 adults and children) in its 6 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and 3 toilets. It includes everything you need: beds, mattresses, TV, appliances: oven, microwave, fridge-freezer, dishwasher... On the ground floor: a bedroom (2 beds: 140x200 + 90x200), bathroom with shower, separate toilet, garage for one car; washing machine and dryer. On the first floor: Living/ living room, open equipped kitchen, balcony terrace overlooking the beach. Two bedrooms (140x200 beds), bathroom with bathtub, separate toilet On the second floor: Two bedrooms (bed 140x200) with sea views and a "children's" bedroom (2 beds 90x200, extra bed possible), Bathroom with bathtub, separate toilet For your comfort and the quality of your sleep, we changed the bedding in May 2025. The 5 double beds have new, 30 cm thick, Blue Latex memory foam mattresses For baby, you will find an umbrella bed, a high chair, a bathtub and a deckchair. Wifi and TV The residence l 'Hippocampe is connected to very high speed internet thanks to fiber and has WiFi coverage on the three floors, enough to work remotely. Access to Orange TV on the big screen Attention: this is a cottage. Linens and towels are not provided unless requested (foreign tenants...). Guest access • Immediate proximity to beaches and shops. • Immediate proximity to restaurants including a few stars (Olivier Roellinger...) • Parking: closed garage 1 attached car and free parking at the Port within a 10 min walk. You can access the entrance of the Hippocampus to unload by identifying yourself as a tenant of Hippocampus aux Bornes which blocks access to the district of La Houle. • In order to facilitate your excursions, public transport (summer shuttle) is set up to go to certain beaches (Port Mer, Pointe du Grouin ...) but also to St Malo or Mont St Michel. • Pet allowed with the consent of the owner. • For walkers, the Customs Trail (GR34) is located at the foot of the house. During your stay CAUTION: • Gite for up to 10 adults We need to let you know that if we have 15 beds, the living room is suitable for 10 adults. It's playable if there are extra children but otherwise you may be too tight. • We rent first by the week during the school holidays. During these periods, contact us if you want to rent for 7 nights or offer 5 or 6 nights. • This is a gite: linens and towels are not included.
