Retro Lakefront Cabin
Retro Lakefront Cabin
Description
Wake up by the water in this charming vintage studio cabin nestled on a peaceful lakefront property. Originally built in the 1950s, this cozy retreat blends nostalgic character with modern comfort. Relax in the hot tub, enjoy evenings around the lakeside fire pit, launch a kayak from the shoreline, or simply unwind with a cup of coffee by the water. Perfect for couples, solo travelers, remote workers, or anyone seeking a unique lakeside getaway close to Seattle. The space Step back in time in this unique retro studio cabin, originally built in the 1950s and thoughtfully preserved with much of its vintage character intact. The cabin is semi-detached to a larger lakefront home and accessed through a shared entry vestibule, with a private and secure entrance leading into your fully self-contained space. Inside you'll find a sleeping area, TV lounge, dedicated workspace, dining nook, kitchenette (no range), laundry, and a 3/4 bathroom. Just outside your sliding glass door a private courtyard seating area, and BBQ. Steps away is a large hot tub with lake views. Guest access Guests have exclusive use of the studio cabin, courtyard, BBQ, and hot tub. You'll also enjoy access to the lakefront, newly built fire pit, kayaks, paddle boards, floats, and other seasonal water equipment. The cabin is located on a shared lakefront property that includes a larger home. While the lakefront amenities are shared, the newly constructed deck and gas fire pit adjacent to the main home are reserved for the owners. We ask guests to respect these private areas during their stay. Other things to note Please note that the studio cabin is semi-detached to our larger lakefront home, which serves as our part-time residence. The entry vestibule is shared, but the cabin itself is completely private and self-contained. We are not always on the property, and if you'd like to know whether we'll be staying in the main house during your visit, just ask before booking and we'll be happy to let you know. Guests are welcome to enjoy the lakefront, hot tub, fire pit, kayaks, paddleboards, floats, and other water equipment. While the property is generally very quiet, you may occasionally see us enjoying the waterfront with our friendly dog when we are in residence. The kitchenette is designed for light meal preparation and does not include a stove or oven. Amenities include a microwave, toaster oven, hot plate, refrigerator, coffee maker, outdoor BBQ, and basic cookware.
