The space The apartment is located in the district of Biebernheim in Sankt Goar, only 500 m from the historic Rheinfels castle. The centre of St. Goar is reachable by foot within 10 minutes. You will live in a wonderful apartment that we have purposely designed as a self contained apartment within our own family home. The house is located on a quiet street with minimal or no traffic noise, separated from the Rhine valley by a small wood. The centre of Biebernheim is only a few hundred meters away where you will find a bakery with an assortment of everyday food, as well as a good restaurant. St. Goar-Biebernheim is the ideal starting point for: - Hiking and walking (for example the Rhine castles hiking trail) - Day trips (among others the „Rheinfels“ castle located nearby) - Boat trips on the Rhine: downstream to Koblenz or upstream up to Rüdesheim with its famous „Drosselgasse“, past the legendary Loreley. - Boat trips on the Moselle (from Koblenz) Our new fully equipped apartment was completed in 2012 and is located in the top floor of our house. The apartment is 63 square meters (part pitch roof) and is perfect for 3 people. We have equipped the apartment, based on our own considerable experience of travelling abroad, and we hope it offers all the luxury and convenience you could possibly want. The living room is dominated by a large seating area. From the comfortable couch you have a view of the stove that guarantees you an atmospheric stay in all seasons. During summer month a large ceiling fan in combination with a remote controllable roof window system ensures the desired fresh air. For music lovers we have installed a Blue-ray system. You can receive your favorite TV station via two satellites on a 40” flat screen. Internet access via WLAN is included in the price. The high quality kitchen units with granite surfaces and breakfast counter includes a large refrigerator, a small freezer, an oven, a Ceran hob and dishwasher. You will not be disappointed with the remaining kitchen equipment either! The apartment has 2 bedrooms. Bedroom 1 is equipped with a full-king size bed (1.80 m x 2.00 m) with adjustable slatted frames and high quality mattresses. A large flat screen TV as well as a motion sensitive lighting system and beech heartwood furniture complete the outstanding features of this excellent room. The absolute highlight of this room however is the starry skies which has been integrated in the ceiling - relax under your own star filled sky! Bedroom 2 is also equipped with another full-king size bed (1.80 m x 2.00 m) with high quality mattresses. A motion sensitive lighting system guarantees one less thing to think about when moving around the bedroom We have selected bedlinen with quality and comfort in mind. Guest access The fully equipped self containded apartment is located in the attic within our own family home. You access your flat by the main entrance of the building using a staircase that leads directly to your flat. The Apartment has its own private terrace in front of the building.
