Characterful former alpaca shed with the most idylic views, on it's own in the neighbouring field to the main barn. Only 20 minutes from Oxford but a rare slice of rural life. Great local pubs including the renowned White Heart. Walk out to the local Farm shop for provisions or a coffee and you might just see a tractor. The Kitchen has all you need plus an American fridge freezer. The wet room feels like a cosy mountain retreat with Bert and May cement tiles and all the hot water you need. The space Arrive along a poplar lined drive (122 of them) through rustic solar powered gates which close safely behind you and you will relax and feel the rural peace. Feel like you are in the the outback but with modern comfort. Whilst preserving a rustic log cabin feel the shed has been designed to feel cosy and retreat-like. Logs will be provided (there is an electric heater if you don't want to make a fire) as well as towels and bed linen which are all good quality and very comfortable. Basics are also provided such as loo paper, soap, and milk to start you off, with tea, and coffee. You can watch films on the projector through your phone. Walk straight out of the gate for many lovely walks where you might well see deer and hares or just play cards by the log fire and have a glass of wine by the fire pit. There is a 2 burner plug in hob and oven together with kettle, toaster, ice and water on tap. This is a shed but not roughing it! Guest access Plenty of space to park right by the barn. Check-in from 3pm and Check-out before 11am. Other things to note There is no Wifi in the barn but mobile signals are very good here. The barn is in the open countryside in a field so you really are surrounded by farmed fields, wildlife and the noises (and beauty) which come with it. We keep a friendly pony in part of the field sectioned off with a fence ( not electrified) but you still have plenty of room to yourselves. The tack room is adjacent to the shed so occasionally you might see someone carrying out a saddle etc and hear the odd whinny.
