The Homestead in Franklin, NC

"The Homestead," built in 1897, has been updated with all the comforts of home. Our cabin is located 12 miles from downtown Franklin, NC and offers you peace and quiet or easy access to fishing, hiking, biking, white water rafting, and ruby mining! The space Built in 1897 the Homestead claims a unique part in the heritage of the Burningtown community and our family. If peace and quiet are what you need, this is the place! If you want to make great memories to share with the folks back home, this is the place! It's up to YOU! Guest access A private driveway leads to the cabin with ample parking. DirectTV service is available. You will have full access to the cabin and surrounding area. There is basic WiFi service available in the cabin (6 mbps download speed). This allows for internet access and calling on a WiFi equipped phone. Other things to note Do not follow GPS directions on the last two miles of your journey. We will give you more specific directions after plans are solidified. Cell service is quite spotty. Do not rely on your hand-held devices.
