A distinctive home base for experiencing Edison, Samish Bay, Chuckanut Drive and the Skagit Valley. The space Jessie’s Place is back under our personal management, and we’re delighted to once again welcome guests to a home with nearly a century of family history in the heart of Edison. Our family has been part of this tiny community for generations. My grandparents, Lloyd “Tuffy” and Jessie, were longtime fixtures in town, and Jessie played her own part in helping Edison grow and thrive. Over the years, she owned a number of local properties and helped families and businesses put down roots by selling property and carrying the notes herself—essentially acting as the bank when a little faith in someone could make all the difference. In her later years, Jessie built this modest manufactured home next to the longtime family home. It was her way of simplifying her life without leaving the Edison community she loved. Today, Jessie’s Place carries her name and continues that family legacy. Designed to feel like a home rather than a typical vacation rental, Jessie’s Place offers spacious, thoughtfully furnished living areas with an emphasis on comfort, style and room to relax. The large kitchen is one of the home’s standout features, with generous counter space and everything you need—from morning coffee to a leisurely dinner. A Nespresso machine, quality cookware, dishes and kitchen essentials are all provided. Both bedrooms are comfortably furnished for a restful night’s sleep, while the living room is perfect for relaxing with a movie or catching the game. YouTube TV with the Sports Plus package provides live television and an expanded selection of sports programming. Outside, enjoy the charming front porch and spacious fenced front yard—a wonderful place to sip your morning coffee or unwind after a day exploring. Best of all is the location. Leave the car behind and stroll to Edison’s restaurants, bakeries, galleries and shops. When you’re ready to explore farther, Samish Bay, Chuckanut Drive, La Conner, Anacortes and the Skagit Valley are all within easy reach. Guest access You'll receive a unique code for the electronic lock before check-in, making arrival simple and contact-free. Guests have private use of two bedrooms, one full bathroom, the spacious kitchen, laundry room, living room, charming front porch and large fenced front yard. Ample off-street parking is available inside the gated yard. A separate owner storage area is securely locked and is not part of the guest space. No one else occupies the property during your stay. The porch and front yard are yours to enjoy. Other things to note Jessie’s Place is a two-bedroom, one-bath home. A third bedroom and attached second bathroom are reserved for owner storage, remain locked, and are not part of the rental. The spacious fenced front yard and porch are for your enjoyment. The property behind the home is a separate parcel and is not included in the rental. Edison is tiny, wonderfully walkable and known for its restaurants, bakeries, galleries and shops. Some establishments are geared toward adults, but additional family-friendly dining and activities are just minutes away in Bow, Burlington and along Chuckanut Drive. We provide ample off-street parking inside the gates. During the fall and winter months, some Edison shops and restaurants may be closed Monday–Wednesday. Don’t worry—there’s still plenty to do nearby, with Bow, Samish Bay, Chuckanut Drive, La Conner and the greater Skagit Valley just minutes away.
