You can find us 2h20' from Bucharest, in Cheia Resort, the starting point to the majestic Ciucaș Massif, known for its strong, therapeutic ozone air. We focus on family fun and constantly invest in all kinds of games, toys and equipment for all ages. On the back terrace you can enjoy your coffee and tea or have fun by the barbecue. The space The cottage is friendly, with an old-school charm and in a continuous improvement (we care a lot about it). Right now, we're investing primarily in outdoor play. We have already set up a sandpit, we have bought a trampoline and several sports equipment (badminton paddles, archery with suction cups, balls, etc.). We also have on the list: zip line, climbing wall, tree house, etc. Stay tuned! :) The cottage does not have luxury finishes but has a familiarity that gives privacy and healthy relaxation, without pretensions. We don't guarantee perfectly ironed linen either :) Sometimes we have cleaning help, most often we do it ourselves, but it's a point we care about a lot. In short, you do not come to the guesthouse, but to a private cottage with charm and personality ;) . House organization: We can comfortably accommodate up to 14 cheerful people. And if necessary, we can extend two more armchairs and the sofa in the living room, so 18 places in beds. The cottage is divided into ground floor, first floor and attic. On the ground floor there is a generous hallway, bathroom, living room with fireplace, kitchen and terrace facing the forest. From the inner terrace you go out to the outer one where you find the barbecue and the gate to the forest. On the 1st floor we have 3 bedrooms and the bathroom with the hydromassage shower😉. Two of the bedrooms are large, with their own terraces and can accommodate 4 people each. The third is small but has a double bed. In the attic we have 2 large bedrooms, also with 4 seats and a small bathroom. The attic smells delicious of wood, it's warm and welcoming. The lower fireplace heats one room per level through the stoves placed in a vertical line. In the kitchen you will find all the necessary (dishes & cutlery) for more than 10 people and a mix of older or newer appliances that are at your disposal: dishwasher, washing machine with dryer (last purchase), kettle, coffee maker, mixer, blender, toaster, fridge with small built-in freezer. *** For children we have a playground outside (sandpit and trampoline) and, if it is hot, we also take out the inflatable pool (1.5 m diameter). Find more outdoor toys - balls, badminton paddles, suction cup archery, target throwing rings, and more. In the house we have board games, books and a TV with DVD player with some DVDs with cartoons but also movies and documentaries. For special occasions but not only, we can also leave you the balloon machine:) for a fee - 150 RON (supplies must be covered). 1 min from us at Nicos Restaurant, where we recommend you eat. They have some insane cakes! >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> And if you've read this far, here's the Story of the Cottage: Mom dreamed one night that she wanted a place by the woods. “I want a house in Cheia” and Dad: “What do you need it for?!” But she needed it! :) This was in '92 when no one knew about DN1A, about "mountain house". Said and done. It was the second plot bought on Calea Vacii, as our street was called - because this was and still is the road of the cows from the village to the pasture. There was another house in front of us and the rest was forest. And there were many visits there (on the way to Brașov to the maternal grandparents), some revelations to the neighbors opposite, meetings with the bears on a daily basis, the memory of a fabulous, magical universe, everything that can ignite the imagination of children. The little river behind the house, then rich and impetuous, formed a small lake in winter that froze and became our skating rink. Oh, and my dad used to hang our ski-bob on the Dacia and pull us like that almost to Brașov. Yes, no one was passing on DN1A, it was not thawing, it was of a wild beauty that was deeply imprinted on my retina. No one knew about this place. It was our talisman. My folks built the cottage at the pace of their diligence and the little time left from the field (they are diligent farmers!:). By the time we finished it, the valley was filled with villas. But since we have it, there is no Easter or Christmas that we do not spend at our chalet. Here we rest best and solve all our "stresses", we leave positively charged and relaxed. Guest access 👉We offer the NEW YEAR'S EVE house only to responsible adults and groups with children 😉 👉The whole house is at your disposal, except for the cellar where the technical room of the boiler is. You'll be alone in the cabin and in the yard. Other things to note Your non-speaking friends are just as welcome, but they must obey the same rules: no smoking and wearing slippers through the upstairs rooms😁.
