Located in the heart of the Tweed Valley’s outdoor mecca of Innerleithen, this apartment is meters from popular cycling and walking trails and a short stroll from the restaurants, bars, shops and cafes on the town’s high street. The flat can sleep up to four guests over a double bed and double sofa bed, but is ideally suited for a couple, small family group, or two friends sharing. The space This ground floor flat (located in a building originally built by The Earl of Traquair in 1871) has been renovated to the highest standards you would expect to enjoy during your stay. Offering free superfast broadband, bathroom with walk-in shower, double bedroom with bedside USB charging points, modern kitchen, smart TV (with Freeview channels and Netflix access for your own account) and an exceptionally comfortable double sofa bed in the living room. We are ideal accommodation for mountain bikers as within an enclosed back garden there is a high-security ASGARD bike storage shed suitable for up to four cycles and wall-mounted hoses for cleaning. Additionally, the property is covered 24hr/365 day by external motion-detected security cameras and floodlights. The Innerleithen Trails car park is less than half a mile from the flat, Caberston Trails only a short ride away, and Glentress Mountain Bike Trail center only five miles away. The start of the Tweed Valley Railway Path is yards from the front door and can be followed all the way to Glentress and Peebles by bike. Have an e-bike? Should you have a larger party, there is another flat next door that is available to hire. (Tweed Valley Lets No. 49) Please note this is a non-smoking property and smoking or vaping is strictly prohibited in the apartment or in the immediate vicinity of the apartment. If you are a smoker we respectfully request that you do not book with us. Other things to note I prefer to personally greet my guests to hand over the key, but there is a keysafe available if meeting arrangements don't quite work out. I live with my family above the flat and can be on hand if needed. Our private entrance is upstairs at the back of the building, so if you are using the bike facilities in the back garden you might meet us coming and going. You may also bump into fellow guests staying in our other holiday flat located next door to yours. Although we are happy to welcome children please be aware the bathroom is shower only with no bath and the flat is not child-proofed. Supervision of children is guests' responsibility.
