The Crescent Bunkie

Located 22km north of Sturgeon Falls, an hour outside of Sudbury and NorthBay. The Crescent Bunkie is off-grid. A few minutes' walk by forest trail to the sandy beach along the Sturgeon River, where there is a sauna, a canoe, kayaks, and life jackets. The Bunkie has a porch and bbq, outhouse, fire pit, and picnic table. Dishes and utensils for 2 are included. It is a small dwelling, so extra guests (more than 2 people) need tents which can be placed on site. Potable water available. The space We are an Outdoor Event & Camping Facility called Fishers’ Paradise that books visitors between our events. Guest access There are trails to walk through the forest, a large soft sandy beach with swimming in the clean and fresh Sturgeon River. During your stay Our family lives in a house on the property so we are always available if needed. We usually make bonfires on the beach Saturday nights (weather dependent) Other things to note We have 4 friendly dogs and ask that any visiting pets be well-socialized and fixed (if over a yr old)
