Country escape set on a hobby farm just 10 minutes to downtown core. Fully furnished smoke free, private 600 sqft guest house with a cozy fireplace in the livingroom. It is a 1 bedroom with ladder access to a small additional sleeping loft. New private outdoor seating area with a firepit. Firewood is provided. Parking for two vehicles is included. We love animals, but have children and other animals on property to keep safe, so we will need more information on your family pet before approval. The space We are situated on a charming centrally located 8 acre family hobby farm. We are located only 10-15 minutes from downtown Midland, Penetanguishene, and Elmvale. If planning a winter visit, we are close to snowmobile trails and only a short 15 minute drive from skiing at Mount St. Louis Moonstone. Our family farm is enriched with 3 kids, family dog, chickens, 4 goats, vegetable gardens, fruit trees, a pond and a pine tree walking trail around the property. If you are looking for something to do that does not require you to leave, we have a wellness retreat and a hiking trail just up the road that connects to the Wye Marsh trail system. Its also great for mountain biking. Or just walk down the road and say hi to the cows on your way to get some local maple syrup. It's a little nature oasis just outside of town. Guest access Please be aware that certain areas are off limits due our family privacy, your safety and that of our animals. You will have access to the side yard where your sitting area and fire pit is located. You will have access to a walking trail the borders our property. This does go by our paddock where the animals are located, so you will be able to enjoy our furry friends from outside the fence. Guests are not allowed inside the animal area for safety reasons. Please remember that our property is a natural setting with tall grasses, many different plants/trees and wildlife, and is therefore rustic in nature. Please take care with the animals and when walking on the property. All areas are use at your own risk.
