This lakefront home hosts up to 10 comfortably and is filled with natural light, soaring vaulted ceilings, an open layout, and easy access to many recreational options on the lake. Set on a quiet street, the property features just under an acre of privacy, mature landscaping, vibrant gardens, a lakeside deck and dock for swimming, fishing and kayaking. Enjoy the view, cooking and relaxing from a spacious kitchen and great room facing the water. The kitchen is stocked with spices, oils and amenities for easy cooking. Retreat to the living room for dining or gather by the fireplace. The main level features a master bedroom with a king bed and freshly renovated ensuite bathroom with marble vanity and a river-stone and tiled shower! The 2nd bedroom features a queen bed across the hall from a new full-sized bathroom with marble vanity and tile tub. The lower level provides additional living space with a family room and a kitchenette with mini-fridge. This room is set up for movies or games, with access to a game/toy closet. There are two large bedrooms downstairs with ample natural light, one with a queen bed and the other with a queen bed and bunkbed that is perfect for kids! The downstairs bedrooms share a full bathroom with shower. The beautifully designed paver patio - with a three-person hot tub (open late April through November), firepit with Adirondak chairs and dining table - creates the perfect place to unwind while taking in sunsets, abundant wildlife and gardens. The property has almost 200 feet of shoreline along beautiful Spring Lake - a 195 square acre body of water with a 3-mile circumference. Spring Lake is 30 feet deep at its deepest point and offers anglers a variety of fish including Black Bullhead, Black Crappie, Bluegill, Bowfin, Brown Bullhead, Carp, Largemouth Bass, Northern Pike, Pumpkinseed, Walleye, Yellow Bullhead and Yellow Perch. Public boat access points for both Spring Lake (at the north end) and Long Lake (at the southern tip of this lake) are just minutes away! The much-larger Lake Washington is also a quick drive on the other side of Dassel. You can tie up your own pontoon or fishing boat to our dock. Two kayaks and six lifejackets are provided for your enjoyment. Water depth at the end of the dock is about 5 feet and the shoreline is rocky. The dock is typically in the water mid-April through mid-October. Please note that the property is elevated above the water. A handrail and granite steps take you through a large, mature garden where you reach the lakeside deck, and then a metal staircase provides access to the water - 48 steps in total. An oversized heated and insulated garage features an indoor/outdoor ping-pong table and disc golf basket! The property also features a historic water mill.
