Just 6 miles from Michigan Tech - a great basecamp for exploring the Keweenaw! The space This cottage is right on Chassell Bay, with a nice swimming area and dock for your boat. Expect to walk about 250 feet from the parking area to your cabin on the waterfront. A wagon is available (when there is no snow - otherwise, you can use our sled) to help you move your luggage if needed. The rail trail is across Lakeshore Dr. from the cabin (accessible at either end of Lakeshore Dr). You can walk/bike this trail less than a mile to the Centennial park (playground) in Chassell or the Chassell Classic Ski, Snowshoe, and Fitness Trails. You can also bike/drive 4.8 miles to the Nara Nature Park which connects to the Michigan Tech trail system (single track for biking and groomed nordic/skate ski trails). Guest access Guests rent the whole cottage. The bedroom and loft are upstairs. There is a pullout sofa in the living room (downstairs). Other things to note Cottage 2 has both a drip coffee maker and a Keurig coffee machine.
