The space The Lake & Outdoors Step down to your private dock and take it all in. Two kayaks are ready for you to explore the water at your own pace. Just across the lake, native waterlilies dot the shoreline, a breathtaking little detour on your morning kayak. As the sun sets, gather around the fire pit with wood provided—just bring the s'mores. Inside the Cottage The fully stocked kitchen has everything you need to cook, including a coffee maker to start your mornings right. The dishwasher makes cleanup a breeze. Fresh linens, bath towels, beach towels, and face cloths are all provided. Fans in every bedroom keep things comfortable no matter the season, and the washer and dryer means you can pack light. The Little Things Shampoo and soap are stocked so you can truly travel light. The well water is clean and drinkable, straight from the tap. Please note: The dock is available for your enjoyment; no boat is included. Also lake access is via a sloped pathway and may not be suitable for guests with limited mobility or difficulty walking on inclines. Life jackets are provided with the kayaks and their use is strongly advised. All water activities are undertaken at guests' own risk, and the host assumes no liability. This property operates on well water and a private septic system. To keep everything running smoothly, a strict maximum of 6 guests applies and mindful water usage is appreciated throughout your stay. Guest access The whole cottage is yours to enjoy! The bunkie/garage is privately locked and excluded from the rental. One guest bedroom has a locked walk-in closet, but don't worry—there's generous wardrobe space in the room so you'll have everything you need. Other things to note BOATERS WELCOME: We have a private dock with a normal water depth of 4 feet, and plenty of space on our property to park your boat trailer! Please note that bringing a watercraft requires reviewing and agreeing to our specific Waterfront & Liability House Rules prior to your stay. Indoor Propane Fireplace Policy (Seasonal Use) Our cozy indoor fireplace is a seasonal amenity designed to help heat the home during the colder months. Summer Bookings: The main propane supply line to the fireplace is completely shut off during the warmer months for home safety. Please do not attempt to turn on or operate the fireplace during this time.
