Truly Off-the-Grid Camping: Unplug, Unwind, Relax *NO ELECTRICITY, NO RUNNING WATER, AND NO WI-FI* Experience Life Beyond the Ordinary Where Simplicity Inspires Serenity Backyard Escapes are small, off grid bunkies at the back of the Main House where the Hosts live with their dog and cat. This is the perfect place to unplug, relax, clear your mind, read, meditate, and get away from the noise of everyday life but still be close to town if you forgot something. The space This bunkie has a queen size bed only. We are located approximately 6-minute drive from the beach and town. Watch the sun set or rise and listen to nature's music as stress melts away. As with camping and outdoor experiences there are insects, mosquitos, spiders and other natural inhabitants in the environment. *We provide: - cooking necessities, including roasting sticks (no pots just one pan) - plates, bowls, cups and utensils - tea, coffee & coffee percolator - BBQ, propane for BBQ, steel spatula, etc., and cleaning brush - small wash basin & dish soap - toilet paper & paper towel - 5L drinking water in jug - Pillows and Bedding - flashlight & lantern - indoor & outdoor games (note outdoor games are shared) *Please bring: - bug spray - wood for the firepit - cooler and ice to store your food - food and drink for your time here - Bath towel *Our dog may visit guests as he runs free on the property. He is very friendly. Shared with the second bunkie: *The Incinerating Toilet (PLEASE read and understand instructions before use) **Seasonal outdoor shower is just steps from the bunkie, behind the bathroom. ***The Outdoor Shower has hot running water on demand. We don’t provide bath towels. Guest access The whole bunkie is available to guests. There is a shared bathroom with an outdoor shower. Each bunkie has it's own firepit, BBQ, and picnic table.
