Spacious room close to the beach and city centre.

The room is in a nice ground floor flat which is conveniently located with 5 minute walk to the beach, UK's top amusement park and the longest pleasure pier in the world. It is 10 minute walk to the town centre, but if you don't like walking you will enjoy accessible public transport links. There is plenty of free parking space on side streets. Local shops and restaurants are nearby. Southend East train station is within walking distance. Pick up and drop off is available after my working hours. The space The south facing room is at the front of the property and has an antique feel to it. In the room there is a double bed, a wardrobe, a mirror, a dining table, a writing table and a WiFi access. Guest access You are welcome to use the kitchen and prepare your own meals. Help yourself to breakfast (tea, coffee, milk, porridge, cereal, fruit). The bathroom is shared usually only with me. You will have your own keys to come and go as you wish. During your stay I work full time and am at home only in the evenings. I am happy to socialize but will also respect your privacy. I am welcoming, broad minded and easy going person ready to help if needed. Other things to note I have a lovely little dog who is friendly and playful. It is not allowed into guest room but will try to get your attention when you are in the kitchen area. Please don't book my room if you don't like dogs or are allergic to them. There is a TV monitor which can be used for streaming films from your phone or Ipad if you have a Chromecast app. It doesn't work as TV. The room faces a street so traffic noise can be heard during rush hours. There is a double bed in the room, so if a couple are used to sleeping in a king size it might feel narrow for them.
