Seasonal cherry, apple, and pear picking nearby make this the perfect retreat for adventure or relaxation, with parks, scenic trails, and breathtaking Gorge views The space Set on a large grassy area at the front of the property, the guesthouse offers a peaceful and private setting just steps from the Columbia River. The space includes two comfortable rooms: one bedroom with a queen bed and a single bed, and a second room with a TV, dining table, and a full-size bed that also serves as a lounge area. Both rooms have private bathrooms with showers. Between the rooms is a small kitchenette equipped with a microwave, mini fridge, coffee maker, toaster, basic cookware, dishes, and utensils for your stay. Please note that the kitchenette does not have a kitchen sink, stove, or oven. Guests can also enjoy outdoor seating with a table and chairs, perfect for relaxing and taking in the beautiful Gorge surroundings. Please also note that, as is characteristic of the Columbia River Gorge, occasional trains pass nearby and may be heard from the property. Earplugs are provided for your comfort if the sound is bothersome. Guest access Guests have access to the guesthouse, the large grassy yard surrounding it, outdoor seating area, and private beach access to the Columbia River. The beach is about a one-minute walk from the guesthouse. Guests are welcome to enjoy the peaceful outdoor spaces, sunsets, and surrounding natural beauty during their stay. Other things to note This is the kind of place that helps you slow down, unwind, and truly enjoy the beauty of the Columbia River Gorge. From peaceful mornings by the water to unforgettable sunsets on the beach, Rowena Dream Guesthouse offers a relaxing escape surrounded by nature. The guesthouse sits on a large grassy property along the Columbia River, below the stunning Rowena Crest. Guests can enjoy private beach access, nearby parks, scenic hiking and biking trails, and some of the Gorge’s best wineries, breweries, and local food. During the season, cherry, apple, and pear picking are just minutes away. Please be advised there are occasional trains passing nearby that you can hear.
