Studio apartment is 30m2 in size. Has two bedrooms and accommodates 4 persons. The beds are 160cm x 200cm Has a well equipped kitchen, table and chairs - but no owen. Not Microwave. The bathroom has a shower. Take a notice, the apartment is not a big one. But you can make your own meals and breakfast, there is an internet-connection - unlimited download, and information about what to do and what to see in the area. The house was built 40 years ago and therefor the WALL BETWEEN THE TWO APARTMENTS ISN'T INSULATED as it would be nowadays. You can hear the neighbors if they are not very quiet, but it is not a big problem. In the spring-time and early summer the birds are singing and they will probably wake you early in the morning by their songs. Later on you will maybe see the horses my brother has and also the new born foals on the fields next to the house. The house has two apartments, this one and the other is smaller; for 2 pers. There is a deck on three sides of the house and a space for parking on one side. Free parking. The house is very well visible from the main road and the access is easy. I am not always at the place but usually I try to meet all my guests. About 200-300 mtrs from the house are Cross roads that leads to Akureyri (West), Húsavík (North) and Lake Mývatn (South) ... and further ahead to East Iceland. The Waterfall Goðafoss is in the neigborhood (7 min. drive) and this location is perfect for daytrips to all the most attractive places in North-East Iceland; Lake Mývatn (one day), The Diamond Circle: The Waterfall Dettifoss, Ásbyrgi, Hljóðaklettar, Puffins on the Coast Line, Tungulending, Húsavík and the Geo Sea bath in Húsavík is a perfect place to end the day. My house is located in the country side, in a middle of the walley Reykjadalur. The house is very well visible from Highway 1 and you you'll pass the gate; soon turn right, alongside the fence - and the house is in front of you.
