The village is known for its links to the making of Nanny Mcphee and Midsomer Murders. The village is home to the Chef and TV personality Mary Berry, Pauline Quirke and Gaby Logan to name a few! The Annexe is a short walk to the village green with a delightful duck pond where you can sit and drink a freshly brewed coffee from the little cafe or enjoy an ice cream from the village store. Situated in the heart of the Chiltern Hills which offers numerous country walks and rambles. Near to the following attractions Cliveden House owned by the National Trust formaly home to the Astor family West Wycombe Park although owned by the National trust it is home to the Dashwood family since the 1700. Hughenden Manor is owned by the National Trust and was once home to Benjamin Disraeli Blenheim Palace owned by the Duke of Marlborough was the birth place and family home of Sir Winston Churchill Bekonscot Model Village was built in the 1930's and renowned to be the oldest model village in England.
