Sela Retreat - The Old Stables

Selá has six double rooms and two shared bathrooms and two shared kitchens with other guests in the old renovated stables. If we are heavily booked guests share owners kitchen. We can house up to 12 persons plus 6 on the ground floor in the old house. Additionally we have a queen size bed upon the loft in the barn Selá overlooks the village of Hauganes, to Dalvík is 12 km and to Akureyri 32 km. The environment is magical and pure characteristic of the best of Iceland both nature and people. The space The house is a modest old Icelandic farmhouse with adjoining stables and barns being restored for long term guests who want to expand their mind and imagination in wonderful surroundings.
