This charming, quintessential Maine property offers wonderful opportunities for boating, tidal swimming or watching wildlife. Located just 15 minutes from Southwest Harbor and 25 minutes from Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park, it’s the perfect base for exploring while enjoying a peaceful coastal setting. The space There have been some recent updates to furnishings - new dining room table and chairs, new comfy couch, bedframes, etc! Important to note, this home does not have a TV, or A/C. There is one other residence on this property, called McGiffert Cabin, that is likely to be occupied. FIRST FLOOR: Centrally located, the spacious Living Room offers a nice place to gather with water views, access to the patio, a brick hearth and wood burning fireplace. The well-equipped Kitchen with plenty of serve ware opens to the Dining Area with table for up to 8, access to the patio and harbor views. One Bedroom with King bed and water views and a Bedroom with Single bed share a hallway. Bathroom with combined tub and shower. SECOND FLOOR: Bedroom with Queen bed and a large Bedroom with one Queen and one Single with a shared Bathroom with combined tub and shower. OUTDOOR SPACES: The House offers a patio and lawn with harbor views and trails that lead to the shore and dock. EXTRAS: Dock and float with a variety of boats for tenant's use generally includes two row boats, two single kayaks, one double kayak, three paddleboards, and one canoe for residents of both The House and The Cabin to share. LAUNDRY: Washer and dryer is located in the basement and ONLY accessible from the outside. TO BOOK: As a local rental agency, we require owner approval before accepting a reservation request. 1.
