A ten minute drive up State Rt 42 takes you to Mt Gilead, while thirty minutes south gets you to Delaware, Ohio, home of Ohio Wesleyan University and The Little Brown Jug horse race and birthplace of 19th U.S. President Rutherford B. Hayes. Thirty minutes east on 95 gets you to Marion, Ohio, with shopping and the home of 29th U.S. President Warren G Harding.
