Peaceful self-catering accommodation on quiet country lane with the river to the front and open countryside to the rear set within the garden of a medieval house. - Quoted as the most beautiful village in Wiltshire - Contemporary building within a historic environment - Lies within easy reach of Tisbury and Salisbury mainline railway stations and minutes from the A303 providing easy access to London and the West Country. The space The Garden Studio at Spring Cottage lies in the Conservation Area in the Nadder Valley close to the source of the River Teff. Teffont is small village in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and is characterised by stone and thatched houses and rolling downland. The area is served by many local gastro pubs. Howard's House hotel/restaurant is within walking distance. Tisbury, just 4 miles away has a range of pubs, shops and cafes. Stonehenge and Salisbury are some 15 and 20 minutes drive and the city of Bath, Longleat and Stourhead are all within easy reach. The New Forest, the south coast towns of Bournemouth and Poole and the Jurassic Coast are all easily accessible. The Garden Studio has been recently re-built as part of the renovations of a 14th century medieval hall house, one of the oldest buildings in Teffont and now provides comfortable contemporary accommodation. Set on two floors with underfloor heating throughout the ground floor, the property has a sitting/dining room with a fully fitted kitchen with ceramic hob. The staircase, with timber and glass balustrades leads to a double bedroom with king sized bed and shower/wc. Guest access PANDEMIC STATEMENT: REASSURANCE TO GUESTS. Fortunately Teffont Magna has so far escaped Covid-19. The Garden Studio is a secluded building far away from the madding crowds. In order to thoroughly deep clean the Studio between bookings we have blocked days either side of each stay and our minimum stay is now 3 nights. sadly we have slightly increased our charges to contribute to the intensive cleaning programme.
