Cozy Queen Bedroom/private bath/private bonus room

This bedroom has its own private bath. You will also have access to a "Cozy" Bonus room just around the corner. You will have your own sofa, coffee table, chair, big screen tv, fridge stocked with bottled water, snacks, microwave, keurig coffee maker and wi-fi with use of NETFLIX. The space Centrally located to downtown Charlotte, this 3800 square foot home offers easy access to I -485, Hwy.51 and Independence Blvd. There are several routes to take you downtown in 25 minutes. If you would rather take public transportation, you could use the Park n ride. 1 Bedroom: (sleeps up to 2) •Our freshly painted bedroom has a queen sized bed and comfortable down pillows with a full private bath. It is a spacious bedroom that could be used for a longer term stay. (We have had a Johnson and Wales student stay with us for an extended period of time and other interns as well). If you are moving to the area, we also have had someone stay for 2 months until she was able to find an apartment. Bathrooms • Full bathroom inside of bedroom offers privacy. Shower/bathtub with a well lit sink area and toilet. A sitting room is available with a 52" TV, sofa Microwave, Keurig coffee maker a small fridge. (not pictured) Refrigerator: For short term visits, it will be stocked with breakfast items so you don't have to worry about going out and getting something to eat in the morning. Location • Home is located in a newer family neighborhood - Davis Trace • Convenient to I-485 and Hwy 51 and Hwy 74 (Independence Blvd.) • 25 minute drive to downtown Charlotte • 30 minutes to Charlotte Douglas International Airport • 22 miles to Charlotte Motor Speedway. * Avoid the traffic hassles of downtown Charlotte. Use the Park n Ride in Matthews less than 5 miles away and take an express bus into downtown Charlotte. Guest access Longterm guests will have the use of the washer and dryer located on the first floor. Outside patio, hammock and yard can also be enjoyed. Kitchen facilities can be used, we will work out a time that fits both of our needs. During your stay We can go either way. We have had some guests that want a lot of privacy and we respect that. We have had other long term guests that we have included in Sunday meals and brought them to a Super Bowl Party with us. Each guest is unique. Other things to note My husband and I both work from home M-Th and keep office hours 8:30 - 4:30. My husband has an office downstairs and I have a sewing workroom at the top of the stairs before the bedrooms. Guests who have similar working hours are preferred. My sewing machines can get pretty loud during the day.
