Artist’s Atelier / Apartment
Artist’s Atelier / Apartment
Description
A 125 yr old school bldg w/updated features like a claw foot tub (no shower yet) a full kitchen. 1 full & 1 full pull-out & a Queen Murphy bed. Separate keyless entry (we live on the first floor) The space you're looking to use is a loft style open plan working artist studio ( my wife and I are both artists) A truly unique space with all the quirks of a very old building. There are 20 steps up to the loft apartment. Ask us about a class for your group or a dinner option. Sorry no pets allowed. The space We have an upstairs apartment with its own keyless entry. It has its own full kitchen, full bath, a separate bedroom with a full size bed. In the atelier (artist studio) which is an open plan, we have a pull-out bed as well as a queen sized Murphy bed also in the atelier. The atelier is a working artist studio where we also conduct classes and hold Greek dinners. We have a gazebo with a lush flower garden and two Adirondack chairs, and one swinging bench. There’s also a fire pit. The lake is about two blocks distance away featuring a quaint swimming beach with a WPA era bathhouse. There’s also a covered picnic area. It’s like walking back in time to a more innocent period of wholesome fun. There are two bars in town and one about 5 miles south of us. There’s also 3 churches in town ( one of which is right next to our property). Guest access Guests will have full access to the upstairs apartment as well as the outside gazebo and fire pit. Also we have a bbq grill. The apartment has it’s own keyless entry and is completely separate from our living area. Other things to note The apt. is a loft style open plan artist studio. We're both artists. Mike is also a Greek chef so let us know if you would like a Greek dinner (ten person min.) Janette also teaches art classes in the studio. She teaches stained glass, leather working, painting, and ceramics.
