Your sophisticated getaway awaits! The space Step into the Downing Suite, an upscale, modern-rustic private large townhouse in the heart of historic downtown Moorefield. Set in a historic building, this beautifully appointed retreat blends historic character with contemporary luxury. Whether you’re visiting for an outdoor adventure, a family getaway, a weekend of antiquing, or working remotely, the suite offers an open, thoughtful layout designed to host guests in total comfort. Perfect for families, vacationers, remote workers, and traveling professionals. We welcome corporate travelers, project managers, and supervisors; however, to protect our delicate historic woodwork, heavy industrial work, commercial trade labor, or job-site crews require prior host approval by inquiry. Occupancy Guidelines: • Standard & Vacation Stays: Up to 8 guests maximum. • Extended Stays (14+ days): Typically limited to 3 guests to ensure optimal comfort, parking, and quiet residential living. Groups exceeding 3 guests for longer stays will be considered upon special request. Outdoor Living & Guest Access *Private Porches, Gardens & New Courtyard: Unwind on the front and side porches surrounded by a curated flower and vegetable garden. Just off the main porch, step into our newly added private courtyard! Tucked perfectly into the gardens, this space features an outdoor dining area, a premium gas grill, and a cozy gas fire pit. * Seamless Entry: Keyless entry via a secure digital keypad at the private rear entrance. * Guest Note: Accessing the suite requires navigating 8 stairs immediately upon entry. Guest access Entire Space to Yourself! Enjoy complete privacy during your stay with full, exclusive access to the entire home. Relax in the spacious, open common area perfect for gathering, unwinding, or sharing meals. You’ll also have a private court with a gas fire pit and gas grill. There are two private outdoor porches all to yourself: both the expansive main porch and the cozy side porch, offering plenty of room to soak up the fresh air! You might occasionally spot your host on the property taking care of maintenance around the other units, but we always respect your privacy and downtime so you can enjoy a peaceful stay. Other things to note Extended Stay Refresh (Every 14 Days) For stays of 14 days or longer, we provide a complimentary scheduled mid-stay cleaning service every 14 days to keep your home away from home feeling fresh. We will reach out ahead of time to schedule a brief, convenient window for linen changes and a light touch-up clean.
