The space Our spacious geodesic dome sleeps 4 and was built for families and groups who want to experience nature without roughing it. Inside is are 2 queen beds, luxury linens, heating, A/C, a wood burning fireplace for those chilling evenings as well as a mini fridge, microwave, pour-over (Chemex) coffee setup, mugs, lanterns and games so you can pack light and settle right in. Outside is where the memories happen! Soak in your private wood-fired hot tub, gather around the fire pit for s'mores under the stars, and wake to birdsong with your morning coffee. You'll feel tucked away in nature, but you're only SECONDS away from our onsite GOOD NEWS Brewing+Sourdough Pizza as well as minutes from other local restaurants, breweries, and shopping. We are about 16 minutes from Edwardsville/SIUE, day-trip close to Grafton's river bluffs and wine country, and just 45 minutes from St. Louis. Traveling without kids? Midweek and off-season, the same dome makes a quiet, unplugged escape for two. Come for the dome. Stay for the farm. Leave already planning the next trip. Guest access This is a real farm, and your stay includes it. Wander scenic walking trails, relax by the pond, and meet our friendly goats, chickens, and free-roaming rabbits. Turn the kids loose on our 5-acre adventure play park, where they can run, climb, and explore for hours. This is the part guests tell us their kids talk about for weeks. Other things to note -A note so you can plan: the dome does not have its own bathroom. A clean PRIVATE bathhouse is a short, well-lit walk away, plus two additional shower houses with a hot shower near the parking area. (We've included a photo so you know exactly what to expect — it's nicer than you're picturing.) -Plates, bowls, cups, and eating/grilling utensils are not provided, so bring your favorite camping or picnic dinnerware. -Wood and fire starters are provided at each accommodation during your stay. You will have the opportunity to impress your family or significant other by starting a fire to heat your wood fired hot tub, fire pit or your wood burning stove for this chilly evenings. -GOOD NEWS hours are as follows: Wed-Thurs 4pm-9pm, Fri-Sat 11am-9pm, Sun 11am-7pm. Closed Monday-Tuesday. -For your security, there are exterior cameras at the parking area and sheds on the property — never in any private space.
