Just a short walk to charming downtown Three Oaks, home of the famous Journeyman’s Distillery and all the shops and eateries Three Oaks has to offer. It is also a quick drive to the beautiful beaches at Warren Dunes State Park and New Buffalo. This cheerful home has queen beds, a comfy sleeper sofa and a fully stocked kitchen. Plus a huge fenced-in back yard, so bring the kids or the dogs and know they are safe while you relax in the three-season room or on the outdoor deck! The living room has a comfy sofa that pulls out to a full size bed (bedding is in one of the bedroom closets) and two upholstered wicker chairs. There is a wall mounted smart TV with basic cable - you can use your own accounts to stream. The kitchen has seating for four and is fully equipped - with most importantly a coffee maker! The bedrooms are identical with queen sized beds, nightstands and wall mounted lamps for late night reading. The screened in porch is a gem - with a high vaulted ceiling, a couch, a few chairs and a dining table for six. All the rooms have hardwood floors and ceiling fans, though there is also air conditioning, of course. The open deck has two round tables and seating for six and leads to the large fenced in backyard and fire pit. There is a shed with a charcoal grill, beach chairs and a beach umbrella. The entire house and yard is available to our guests! I live 13 minutes from the cottage and am always checking my phone! So I’m happy to be helpful during your stay! The cottage is walking distance to downtown Three Oaks and about seven miles from Warren Dunes and its beautiful beach and hiking trails. New Buffalo is also about seven miles away and has a public beach as well as many restaurants. Head out to the country and you will find the many wineries and breweries that are in Southwest Michigan! AT this point there are virtually no Lyfts or Ubers in Harbor country! The best way to get around is drive, bike or walk! Summer is a busy time in Harbor Country! If you want to go out to dinner, it is smart to plan ahead and make reservations (at those restaurants that accept them). Many area restaurants are closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, but not all! I am happy to provide suggestions as we like to eat out too! If you decide to eat at the cottage, there is a charcoal grill stored in the shed.
