Well-built cottage under the spruce trees and nestled along the St. George River, the views from Hunker Down are spectacular and panoramic. This is a great pair of cottages (Yes! Both cottages are included) perfect for two couples that want privacy, or a small family getaway. Surrounded by trees and gardens, this property is a great spot to, watch lobster fishermen, or take in your favorite book. The comfortable space includes a kitchen, living/dining area with views of the river, and surrounding woods on the first floor. There is a queen bedroom with adjoining full bath with stall shower that can also be accessed from the hall.  Up the wooden stairs you will find an elevated king platform bed that will make you feel like you are in a ship at sea with the water view. The cozy guest house, just steps away, is complete with a living area, small refrigerator, and full bathroom on the first floor. Enjoy your morning coffee from the front yard and listen to the birds and boats pass by. The open, flat yard leads directly to your dock in front of the cottage. Kayaking or boating is easy right from the dock, if you want to bring a boat down or you can just sit and enjoy the view and birds with a glass of wine. Or attempt some fishing! Nap in the hammock, play cards on the deck, or enjoy the fire pit by the water's edge and toast up some s'mores while you watch the sunset in your private paradise.
