Enjoy lake views, two large porches, a lakeside firepit, Blackstone grill, outdoor dining, kayaks, and paddleboards, plus a detached guest suite with its own kitchen, bath, laundry, and queen bedroom. With minimal neighbors, modern comforts, and room to spread out, it’s an easy place to slow down, gather, and enjoy the lake. The space Step inside and Driftwood opens up into a comfortable, modern lake home made for gathering without feeling crowded. The main house centers around an open living, dining, and kitchen area, giving everyone an easy place to cook, eat, relax, and plan the next lake day together. The fully stocked kitchen includes all major appliances, coffee provided, and everything needed for simple meals during your stay. The dining area features a real wood table that works just as well for breakfast and family dinners as it does for cards, board games, or late-night conversations. Sleeping arrangements in the main home include a king bedroom suite with lake views and an ensuite full bathroom, a queen bedroom toward the front of the home, and a bunk room with twin-over-queen bunks that sleeps up to 6. Smart TVs are included in every bedroom, making it easy for everyone to relax at the end of the day. One of Driftwood’s best features is the detached guest suite. It feels like its own little home, with a full kitchen, queen bed, full bathroom, private laundry, unique design touches, a custom LED headboard, and views throughout. It’s a great setup for grandparents, another couple, older kids, or anyone who wants a bit more privacy while still being part of the group. Outside, the property is made for slow lake days. Enjoy two large porches, outdoor dining, lounge chairs, a Blackstone grill, and a lakeside firepit near the water. Guests will also have access to 2 kayaks and 2 paddleboards for exploring the cove when conditions allow. The property includes roughly 100 feet of shoreline. Due to current drought conditions, lake levels are low right now, but water is still accessible. The cove typically has water throughout the season, though levels can vary depending on weather and lake management. Please note there is no boat access from this property, but there is parking available for up to 7 vehicles plus boat parking. Driftwood is a comfortable lakeside escape with room to gather, room to spread out, and plenty of ways to enjoy Lake Norman without needing to rush anywhere. Altogether, the rental includes 4 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms across the main home and guest suite. Wishlist Vacations provides all linens, towels, soaps, coffee, and other essentials so you can settle in comfortably. Smart door lock for easy self check-in. Guest access Access is easy—no keys to keep up with. You’ll receive a private smart lock code before arrival for seamless self check-in. You’ll have access to the main home, detached guest suite, outdoor porches, lakeside firepit area, shoreline, kayaks, paddleboards, and parking areas during your stay. Please note that this property does not offer boat access. Boat parking is available on-site, but boats cannot be launched or docked from the property. Lake levels can vary by season and weather. Water is currently lower due to drought conditions, but the shoreline remains accessible, and the cove typically has water throughout the season. Other things to note 🕸️ Spider webs outside? We de-web and treat decks and porches regularly, but spiders can rebuild a web in just 30–60 minutes. Lake life! ⏰ Can I check in early or check out late? We already offer THE most favorable check-in/out times compared to other local companies. We follow our standard times to allow for proper cleaning. Requests may be available during the off-season, or if it's not a same day turnaround. 🔥 Is firewood provided? No—but local grocery stores sell bundles right out front. Grab a lighter too, as they tend to disappear and we don’t stock them (liability). [DISCLAIMERS] - A maximum of 2 pets are welcome at this property with an added fee. Bringing pets without prior approval from Wishlist will result in a $250 fine per pet. - Please note that parties and events are not permitted at this home. - Smoking is not allowed anywhere on the property. Violations are subject to a $250 fine. - We strictly enforce occupancy and noise limits, as the county can shut us down. Fines start at $250 and go up from there per violation, with the right to evict all occupants with no refunds. - Government-issued ID and a security deposit, when required, will be requested after booking. - Any form of credit card fraud will be reported and prosecuted to the fullest extent.
