The space Tucked away on private acres at the end of a quiet dead-end road in New Paltz, this beautifully designed three-story home sleeps up to 8 and has everything a family, friend group, or multi-generational crew could want. The House A warm craftsman-style home with lush landscaping and a flagstone path leading to the front porch. The entire first floor is bright and open, yet each space still feels warm and its own. The heart of it all is a dramatic great room with a 20-foot beamed ceilings, a stone fireplace, and an open kitchen that naturally draws everyone in. The dining area flows right off the kitchen, making it easy for everyone to cook, eat, and stick around. A second living room has its own fireplace and invites slow evenings and spontaneous music. The sunroom, wrapped in windows on three sides with views deep into the woods, opens onto the back deck through French doors. A lovely quiet spot for morning coffee while watching the birds move through the trees. The deck itself sits elevated above the yard, surrounded by mature forest. Beautiful for al fresco meals or long evenings outdoors. The Bedrooms Three bedrooms upstairs plus a walkout lower-level suite with its own living space, full bathroom, natural light, and direct access to the outdoors. The suite is ideal for guests who want their own retreat, teenagers who want independence, or anyone who just wants a little separation while staying part of the group. The Outdoors A gas fire pit with Adirondack chairs sits at the front of the house, backed by beautifully landscaped gardens and mature woods. Old stone walls wind through the property and a creek runs along the back. The Location You're minutes from everything that makes the Hudson Valley worth visiting: Mohonk Preserve and its world-famous hiking and carriage roads, the charming village of New Paltz, Minnewaska State Park, the Wallkill Valley Rail Trail, local wineries, cideries, and farmers markets. And you're just a couple of miles from the NYS Thruway, an easy escape from the city without the traffic headache of more remote spots. Guest access Guests will have exclusive access to the entire home and all guest spaces. A few storage and utility areas will remain locked for safety and maintenance purposes, but beyond those, the property is entirely accessible for guests to enjoy privately. Other things to note PET/SERVICE ANIMAL RULES Please inform us if you are planning on bringing your pet and provide their age and breed since not all types and/or breeds are allowed. Ensure the pets are included in your reservation details so proper pet fees are assessed on your booking. Please follow the rules below: * Please keep the pet off of furniture and bedding. * Clean up accidents swiftly. If there is an accident that you're not able to clean yourself, please let us know as soon as possible. * Guests are responsible for any damage caused by their pet. The pet fee is designated for the additional cleaning service and will not be applied to the cost of any damages caused by the pet. * The pet must be crated if left without supervision. * Pets must be on a leash or in a carrier when outside of the home. * We do not know all of the plants that grow on the property. Please be mindful of how your pet interacts with the wildlife in the area. * Please pick up after your pet outside. WILD ANIMALS Please be aware that our property is located in a natural setting and may be visited by wild animals. While these animals are generally harmless, it is important to use caution and be mindful of your surroundings while on the property. Here are a few tips to help you stay safe: * Keep a safe distance from any wild animals you encounter. Do not approach or try to feed them. * Keep all food and trash securely stored to prevent attracting animals. * If you see an animal acting aggressively or exhibiting unusual behavior, notify us immediately. * Use caution when hiking or exploring the property, and be aware of your surroundings at all times. CONVENIENCE FEES We like to be as accommodating as possible and some fees could be waived in certain special circumstances. * Early Check-in Fee (before 4:00 PM): $100 * Late Check-out Fee (after 11:00 AM): $100 * Dishwashing fee (only if dirty pots, pens, and large number of dishes are left in the sink): $100 * Grill cleaning fee (only if not cleaned after use): $50
