The space River Hills Retreat's farmhouse has been thoughtfully remodeled from top to bottom, blending modern comfort with warm, rustic character. Step inside to find an open, inviting living space anchored by a wood-burning fireplace — the perfect place to unwind after a day of exploring the property. The custom kitchen features quartz countertops and plenty of space for the group to gather while meals are being made. Comfortable in-floor radiant heating keeps the home cozy year-round, while modern mini-split systems provide efficient cooling during the warmer months. 🌿 One thing that truly sets this place apart is our commitment to a squeaky clean, natural, toxin-free environment. We intentionally avoid synthetic fragrances and harsh chemicals throughout the suite. You'll sleep on cotton sheets, enjoy non toxic soaps and shampoo, and even our dishwasher detergent and cleaning supplies are non toxic and free of synthetic fragrance. ☕️ We also provide organic coffee, and we do not use harmful chemicals for pest control or cleaning. (twin over twin) Located in the barn — perfect for kids or a crew. Bedroom 5 — 1 bunk bed (full over queen) also in the barn. Two full bathrooms serve the main house, with one conveniently located on the main level plus an additional full bathroom in the barn. The Bank Barn A standout feature of River Hills Retreat is the stunning 40' x 60' bank barn — open, airy, and full of character. The open industrial feel makes it unlike anything you'll find at a typical rental and makes it perfect for larger groups, family reunions, etc. The barn is home to a fully equipped additional full kitchen with a 6-burner professional stove, ideal for large group meals, celebratory dinners, or weekend cookouts. The expansive family and game room provides plenty of space for everyone to spread out, play games, watch movies, or simply hang out together. Bedroom 4 and 5 are tucked into the barn as well as another full bathroom, making it a great bunk-style retreat for the kids or younger guests in the group. (Equipment provided) Playground for the kids — a super fun area for the little ones, with swings, a slide, a trampoline, and even a little playhouse, with a cute little loft. Spacious back deck — great for morning coffee or evening cocktails And when the sun goes down, the skies above River Hills are truly something special. Far from city lights, the property offers exceptional stargazing on clear nights — bring a blanket and look up. A portion of the property's outbuildings, including the detached garage are reserved for private use and are not part of the rental."
