Description

This old house has been renovated in the past 12 years and we always have ongoing projects. With new materials, the little farmhouse has maintained it's old charm and ambience. It's a peaceful and private spot surrounded by a big garden, wonderful nature and wildlife. There are many opportunities for activities like walks in the woods, fishing, hunting, biking, swimming, picnics, boating and canal tours. PLEASE NOTE: Electricity prices are fluctuating and will be charged according to usage. The space Solheim is the perfect place to charge your batteries. From an ever blossoming garden you have a breathtaking view of nature, wildlife and farmland. Short way to a hike in the Rakkestad mountains or for a swim in the lake with sandy beach. On our new Insta account @SolheimThe Cabin you can see photos and videos from our little corner of the world. Guest access You access the whole house and the 3000 square meter garden. Other things to note During winter: Guests staying more than seven days will be charged for electricity according to usage. We will ask for the payment via Airbnb after the stay is over and the meter has been read. We can read the usage online, but please take a photo of the meter when arriving.
