Museums with themes like the Mine (Decazeville), crafts, prehistory, heritage. Ancient mills, mines, churches and chapels around the paths... Les Bastides: Villefranche de Rouergue, Figeac, Villeneuve, are the most beautiful bastides in the area. Conques, a must on the way to Santiago de Compostela; Cordes sur Ciel, a small high perched and picturesque village. Famous markets like Villefranche on Thursdays and Figeac on Saturdays. Terroir products: foie gras, mushrooms, duck, artisanal charcuterie, the Marcillac valley with its famous wine that you will have to taste (in moderation). Regional specialties: Stockfish, Truffade, Aligot to enjoy for the many country parties and alfresco dining in the surrounding villages.
