The top floor of this beautiful turn-of-the-century house opens up on both sides. To the west, it offers breathtaking views over the harbor and Flensburg's old town. To the east, it overlooks the charming Captain's Quarter and St. Jürgen. Two balconies provide sunny spots at any time of day, while inside you'll find stylishly renovated rooms, a wood-burning stove, a black designer kitchen… Other things to note The vacation apartment is located in the attic (3rd floor, no elevator!) of an apartment building from the Gründerzeit. The apartment is fitted out and equipped to a very high standard. In the main room, large window fronts open to the east and west. In the east, cozy lounge furniture on a 2 x 4 m balcony invites you to have a morning coffee in the sun. To the east, the window front can be completely unfolded. From the sofa landscape you can enjoy one of the most beautiful views of the harbour and the old town of Flensburg. Attention all cooking fans: The kitchen not only looks good, it's also really fun! Miele or gaggenug appliances, a plate warmer that can also be used excellently for low temperature cooking, a quooker that provides boiling water, ice cold bubbled or ice-cooled still water immediately, and the view when cooking is a serious competition for the Flensburg restaurants. Bedroom: The 1st bedroom has a 1.80 m wide, the 2. a 1.60 m wide double bed and a small desk. Together with the bathrooms, there are two separate bedroom-bathroom units, which are also very suitable for a relaxing stay for two couples or two friends. In winter, you are welcome to heat the fireplace: in front of you the water, a warm fire next to you and in the background of this enchanting town: you will hardly leave the sofa. A TV was deliberately omitted in favor of the panorama. However, there is very good Wi-Fi... Comfort parking: You can park your car right outside the front door. The apartment occupies the complete attic. You are welcome to use it all. Next to the apartment in the stairwell there is a small room. In the summer, you will find the deck chairs for the harbor balcony, washing machine, dryer, vacuum cleaner, etc. here. You are also very welcome to use everything you find in the kitchen cabinets. Other important notes: There is no elevator; the apartment is in the attic (3rd floor) of a charming house from the Gründerzeit (built in 1880). This is a whole era before the opulent townhouses of the 19th century. Unfortunately, it was not possible to install an elevator. But: every step is rewarded with a magnificent view when you are at the top!
